T38 Compatibility List

The purpose of this list is to provide basic information about T.38 equipment known to work with CallWeaver. Please use Faxing with CallWeaver as a reference when configuring your T.38-capable device to work with CallWeaver.
Compatibility list
Important notes when reporting devices:
| Rating is what percentage you would rate the T.38 compatibility with CallWeaver. *0%: Nothing works *5-49%: Findings indicate that it might work at some time, and it might even work casually today. *50%: One way faxing works (please describe which way) *51-99%: At least one way works, the other way works sometimes, but not always. Please specify. *100%: Perfect. It works every time. There are no known problems. It is important to note that a device shouldn’t be reported as 100% if it just worked perfectly once. It has to work “every” time without any issues.. Please subtract a few percentages from the score and point out that it does not always work in the description. We don’t want to give out bad information. If a device is reported as less than 100%, it does not necessarily mean it won’t work, but the reporter has not gotten it to work yet. There are still chances that it might work with other versions of CallWeaver, SpanDSP and even another fax machine, so please don’t give up and provide us your test results and rating! |
CallWeaver to CallWeaver
With CallWeaver trunk revision 2551 and SpanDSP 20070302 we are successfully sending faxes with TxFax (with call files) to another CallWeaver server, which receives it with RxFax. However, we have not been successful with ATA (Tilgin Vood 342) → CallWeaver → CallWeaver → RxFax.
